Program Overview

Implemented by Engineers Without Borders Nepal (EWBN) in collaboration with Heifer International Nepal, this two-day workshop brought together members from Social Entrepreneur Women’s Cooperatives (SEWCs), smallholder farmers, and agricultural cooperatives across Nepal.

The sessions were designed to build practical capacity in policy advocacy, stakeholder engagement, and collective agenda-setting — with a strong emphasis on inclusive, evidence-based participation.

Advocacy Planning Process

Cooperative Financing

Structured proposals for targeted interventions and local government role in supporting cooperatives.

Coordination Mechanism

Provincial-level coordination backed by data and evidence-based reporting.

Evidence Collection

Biannual farmer meetings and participatory annual planning for transparency.

90-Day Action Plans

Each participant drafted an action plan with tasks, responsible persons, and timelines.
