In a shared spirit of collaboration and global citizenship, Engineers Without Borders Nepal (EWBN) and EWB-USA chapters came together for an engaging Meet & Greet session, uniting passionate engineers and changemakers working toward sustainable development.
The session saw participation from the University of Florida and Florida Professional Chapters representing EWB-USA, alongside EWBN’s Pulchowk, Kathmandu, Purbanchal, and Pokhara Chapters. The event provided a valuable platform to exchange experiences, share project updates, and explore new opportunities for partnership between student and professional chapters across borders.
From discussing community-driven WASH projects in Nepal to sharing insights on project design, impact assessment, and sustainability practices, the dialogue reflected a deep commitment to learning and collaboration. Participants highlighted the importance of integrating local knowledge with global expertise to create contextually meaningful solutions.
The Meet & Greet concluded with a shared enthusiasm for continuing these conversations and building a stronger network of engineering changemakers. Together, EWB-USA and EWBN reaffirmed their dedication to using engineering as a force for good, bridging ideas, cultures, and communities for a more resilient and sustainable future.
