Engineers Without Borders Nepal proudly announces the establishment of its Professional Chapter – Cohort of 2025, marking an important step toward building a stronger bridge between experienced professionals and aspiring changemakers. This initiative brings together a network of engineers and development professionals dedicated to giving back through mentorship, knowledge sharing, and purposeful collaboration, amplifying impact across communities through humanitarian engineering.
Behind every empowered youth and resilient idea stands a network of mentors who guide, inspire, and support from behind the scenes. The EWBN Professional Chapter embodies this spirit of collaboration, uniting individuals with diverse expertise in civil engineering, environmental science, disaster resilience, water management, and sustainable development.
The 2025 cohort includes remarkable professionals such as Er. Astha Acharya, a civil engineer and Australia Awards Scholar advancing disaster resilience; Er. Roshan Paudel, a hydrology and water resources specialist passionate about community collaboration; Aastha Pandey, an environmental scientist working across sustainable systems and circular development; Er. Sanjog Khanal, a multidisciplinary engineer focused on disaster risk reduction and climate adaptation; Er. Nitisha Kafle, a structural engineer dedicated to inclusive and ethical engineering; and Er. Prasanna Koirala, a water resources expert advancing sustainable infrastructure.
Together, they represent a powerful collective of professionals who believe that engineering goes beyond technical solutions, it’s about people, purpose, and progress. Through mentorship and meaningful engagement, the Professional Chapter aims to nurture future leaders, foster innovation, and strengthen EWBN’s mission of creating sustainable, resilient, and equitable communities. At its core, this chapter stands as a reminder that to build better futures, we must build together, with compassion, collaboration, and commitment to change.
