Organized a Panel Discussion event in collaboration with the Entrepreneurs Cohort Pulchowk and FSU- Pulchowk

On 26 January 2026, Engineers Without Borders Pulchowk, in collaboration with
Entrepreneurs Cohort Pulchowk (EC)and Free Students Union Pulchowk,
organized its inaugural event at the campus Library Hall. The panel discussion,
titled “Establishing Innovation Cultures in Universities,” featured Suman Shakya,
Kavi Raj Joshi, and Priyanka Adhikari, moderated by Diwas Ghimire and hosted
by Usha Kiran Adhikari.

With more than 78 attendees, the discussion highlighted that fostering
innovation in universities requires dedicated spaces and supportive policies. The
panelists emphasized organizing targeted, need-based initiatives rather than
replicating existing programs to build a stronger innovation culture. They also
noted that while mentorship ecosystems exist, innovators often lack access to the
right connections, and young entrepreneurs must learn to ask the right questions
and clearly define the problems they aim to solve.
The panel discussion enabled students to interact with professionals from the
innovation ecosystem, offering insights into transforming ideas into practical
solutions and the importance of problem identification, critical thinking,
mentorship, and networks. It also encouraged reflection on how student bodies
can promote creativity, experimentation, and entrepreneurial thinking within the
campus community.
