Expected Impact:
To safeguard Nepal’s cultural heritage by creating accurate, high-quality digital archives that preserve the historical significance of heritage sites, enable restoration after disasters, and promote global awareness.
Project Duration: 3 Months
Overview
Outcomes:
This project demonstrates the power of technology in protecting Nepal’s cultural identity. By digitally preserving Gorkha Museum and Janaki Temple, we have created a permanent record that can support restoration efforts, promote cultural tourism, and educate future generations. Beyond documentation, this initiative builds local capacity, engages communities, and raises awareness of the importance of safeguarding heritage. Our work is a step toward a future where every heritage site in Nepal is digitally archived, ensuring that history remains resilient against natural disasters and the passage of time.
