The team of Engineers without Borders Nepal attended Post-COP discussion event organized by Clean Energy Nepal, OXFAM, NIDWAN, DCA Nepal, LIBIRD, NYCA, PRC Nepal and CANSA Nepal Network in on 15th December 2025. The event brought together the members from various civil society organizations, negotiators, government officials, experts, women’s representatives, and youth representatives to discuss the decisions and agendas of 30th Session of the Conference of the Parties (COP30) which was held in Belém, Brazil.

This insightful session reflected on the key outcomes of COP30 and assessed the implications it brought to a vulnerable country like Nepal. The discussions rotated around GGA, loss and damage, priorities on mountains, adaptation, climate finance, and strong means of implementation. It also discussed the inclusivity and active youth engagement in COP and climate action. It aimed to motivate civil society organizations to engage in climate actions from grassroots to national levels.

The discussion concluded with an interactive interaction and Q&A on GGA, climate finance, GEDSI, Article 6, and the Fund for Responding to Loss and Damage. This session brought light towards the emerging need for climate action to be implemented on the grassroots level.
