Engineers Without Borders Nepal celebrated International Women’s Day on 8th March 2026, with great enthusiasm and appreciation for the women who contribute to the organization every day. The celebration aimed to recognize the achievements, dedication, and strength of women in the organization while promoting a culture of respect, collaboration, and equality.
As an organization consisting of a majority of women team members, the day provided a meaningful opportunity to reflect on how we have supported, inspired, and influenced one another in our professional journey. It also highlighted the valuable role women have played in shaping the organization’s growth and impact in the communities we serve.
The event began with a heartfelt gratitude and appreciation session among team members, where members shared words of encouragement and recognition. This was followed by a small gifting session and engaging activities, including fun games and a socializing session that allowed everyone to connect and celebrate together in a relaxed and joyful environment.
The celebration served as a reminder of the importance of uplifting and empowering women within the engineering and development sector, reinforcing the spirit of teamwork and inclusivity that defines the organization.
