Pre-Implementation Site Visit and Logistics Planning at Roshi WASH Project

On April 6th, WASH Lead Aastha Acharya and General Manager Skanda Rimal visited the WASH project site in Roshi, Kavrepalanchowk, as part of the preparation for the upcoming pre-implementation trip. The main purpose of the visit was to conduct a market survey for the materials required for the upcoming construction activities and to assess their availability, estimated cost, and procurement options in the local market.
During the visit, the team also met with the school principal, Mr. Ram Sigdel, to discuss the tentative project dates, material procurement process, and necessary coordination before the arrival of the Berkeley students. The team also discussed the possible location for temporary toilets to ensure proper sanitation arrangements during the project period. In addition, the accommodation facilities were inspected, and the basic arrangements required for the visiting team were reviewed. Based on the site visit and inspection, a checklist was prepared to support smooth planning and logistics for the upcoming trip.
