EWB Nepal participated in a Peace Corps education training program, where we introduced our work and shared an overview of the iLab program with Peace Corps volunteers. Peace Corps Nepal works closely with local communities and partners to support education, capacity building, and sustainable community development across Nepal. The session was attended by Mark and Sojan from EWB Nepal, Pooja from Karyashala, as well as six iLab students and two teachers representing two schools. The students showcased products they had developed through iLab activities and shared their learning experiences.
The session provided an opportunity for interaction between students, educators, EWB Nepal, Karyashala, and Peace Corps volunteers, while also discussing potential areas for future collaboration and exploring how EWB Nepal and Peace Corps volunteers could work together to support community-based education and innovation initiatives across Nepal.
The session was warmly appreciated by Peace Corps Nepal, who valued the interaction with the students, teachers, and EWB Nepal team and expressed interest in continuing the collaboration in the future.
