Five passionate youth leaders from different parts of the world have been selected to serve on the Youth Advisory Council to the Engineers Without Borders–International (EWB-I) President for the year 2026. Coming from diverse universities and experiences, the group brings fresh ideas, student perspectives, and a shared commitment to positive change.
The council members include Mr Ayande Joseph, Co-President of the EWB-USA Harvard Student Chapter; Ms Flavia Valente, President of the EWB-USA UC Berkeley Student Chapter; Ms Samantha Hooper, President of the EWB Australia University of Melbourne Student Chapter; Ms Fatima Zahraa Bham, Chairperson of the EWB South Africa University of the Witwatersrand Student Chapter; and Mr Mohammed Ghadamsi, who joins as an independent youth representative.
Together, they will work closely with the EWB-I President, sharing youth voices, real student experiences, and ideas from their regions to help strengthen collaboration and youth engagement across the global EWB network.
