Ahead of the Immersive Study Tour (IST) 2026, the EWB Nepal team visited Dhading to engage with local stakeholders and prepare the community for the upcoming programme. During the visit, the team met with community Points of Contact (POCs), the Ward Chairperson, local representatives, and community members to discuss IST activities, community participation, accommodation, and overall coordination. The visit helped strengthen coordination with the community, clarify expectations, and identify areas where the IST can contribute meaningfully. Building on the experience of the first IST, and with strong support from local stakeholders and enthusiastic community participation, Dhading is preparing to once again welcome participants for a programme centred on learning, collaboration, cultural exchange, and community-based engineering.
